About Margo

I’m Margo. I’m a Texas expat laying down roots in Chicago. I got my first jazz CD from Starbucks: a damn fine mix called Blue Note Blend. I still watch Degrassi on The N, and I wish Michael Jackson would get back to making soulful tunes. All but one of my exes live in Texas, and he gave me SRV’s Texas Flood. I played drums for a musical that Chuck Norris attended, and I also played regularly with a former colleague of Duke Ellington’s. I tend to eat organic and covet vegan desserts, but I can’t live without sugar cereals. My job and my husband’s insanely bad jokes give me laugh lines. My first published short story will appear in a kids’ magazine called Faces, and I’m writing a social sci-fi novel for teens.
